The Philosophy Page

Children of the light it is your destiny to bring hope and love, to show by example the true spirit sense of purpose. To leave a trail that others can follow and to hold out a hand to those that stumble.

It is time to light up the torches, to shine light on humanity, to expose the weaknesses, the many flaws, the broken limbs. It is time to carry the wounded, find the lost souls and point them in the right direction, to bridge what divides humanity, to offer a helping hand to anyone who stumbles.

Big words you might say but what can I do as a lone individual on a long winding treacherous path? If you have come across these words you have already started down a path of spiritual enlightenment, you care about humanity and life in a way that many others do not. All "spirit" asks of you is that you share some of the compassion in your heart and just offer a little help to someone, even advice and comfort, and show respect for all life around you, including animals, plants and all living things. These deeds will have far more effect on helping your world than visiting your places of worship, listening to stale sermons, or preaching to the already converted. The sick and diseased elements of your world cannot be healed from the pulpit, but can be helped by the love and compassion that exists in all your hearts, and just helping one soul makes your life time on earth worth it. The example you set will inspire others to do likewise and in time enough good deeds will be done to make a real difference and humanity will have turned the corner. Don't be impatient change will take time but you are the building blocks of that change now go and start laying the foundations.

The Law of Karma by White cloud
God Bless you, my brothers and sisters. It is hard to understand and believe that sickness and suffering are chosen for personal progression. So much could be achieved if souls would live one day at a time and fill each day as if it were their last, for life is given to learn many lessons upon this school of earth.  Suffering presents so many golden opportunities to walk towards the light if only it could be seen for its true value.  It is an opportunity to find compassion, awareness, understanding, humility, forgiveness and acceptance and is also invaluable in fulfilling the ‘Law of Karma’.
I have heard you say of those who make others suffer, “How can they ever repay what they have done to so many?”  The law is exact, ‘As you sow, so you must reap.’ The Law of Karma must be repaid for it is an exact science.  It is part of the wheel of life and the wheel must turn in many directions to find perfection.
Pain is part of earthly progression.  Some would seem to have more than their share but it is a question of what is required.  It is not a punishment.  God is full of love and is merciful.  It is man himself who creates inhumanity; it is he who causes pain and suffering and when he accepts God as pure love, he will want to return to the spiritual realms to become a part of that love.  There are many souls upon your earth who are greatly troubled, who live in lands where there is so much turmoil and strife, where one soul or a community of souls sets up against others.  It makes you question, why does not God intervene?  God cannot intervene because he gave each and everyone of you your freewill.
You choose your pathway and the lands where you will live to learn your particular lessons in life.  The physical body is a vehicle within which to travel whilst learning, specially designed and adapted for you.  You must wonder at the injustice that some have so much whilst others have so little.  Those who are white this time must be black next time if they cannot live together in harmony.  When they look back over their lives to see how they used, abused or deprived others, they will realise that it was themselves they hurt for, in truth, they deprived themselves of love and, in so doing, would have prevented themselves from becoming a part of the greater love, a part of God.
How can you understand starvation unless you have starved?  How can you understand deprivation unless you have been deprived?  How can you understand loss of heat, or total heat, unless you have been through both experiences?  All things are necessary, not only for those who are in turmoil but for others who live apart from the turmoil who can offer help, giving them an opportunity to be of assistance.  Do not judge, for how can you?  Unless you have lived in that land with them, you cannot possibly know.
How many of you could truthfully say, “I would sell all my possessions to give to the poor and needy?”  We know the words but we would stop and say, “If I give that away, what would I be left with?  Would I starve?  Would I have a roof over my head?” and once more the spiral of fear would commence and, perhaps, you would blame the government or someone else but never yourself!

If they have done something wrong, they will judge themselves and will pay the penalty.  When they look back upon their lives and see what they have done, it is they who will suffer.  God will not punish or admonish them.  They wish to become a part of the greater love so when they see what they have done, they will volunteer to come again having recognised that they abused others and by offering to go through the experience themselves, they will eventually progress.

One day they will watch the film of their lives with horror and say, “If only, if only!” and, as the Bible says, there will be the gnashing of teeth and the wailing of tongues and they will want to make amends.  But, in order to understand the suffering fully, they will offer to go through it themselves and the Law of Karma – as you sow, so shall you reap, will come into operation, for it is this law that brings about compassion and understanding.

Try to understand the other person’s point of view and do not judge them for what they are doing.  When others use and abuse you, bless them, because some of your karma will have been repaid. If you allow their anger to make you angry or the unfairness that they heap upon you to affect your inner being to make you unfair and aggressive, then you will not have progressed.  You will merely have observed how you once were.
When you see unfairness, no matter what they have done to you or others, try nobly and with humility, to bring these people and the situation into God’s light, giving your forgiveness.  Remember the Master’s words, “Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do.”  No matter what anyone does, even if it’s a sickness that they have, capture them in your mind.  Learn to creep away into the quiet, taking with you a mental image of that soul, bringing them into your Heavenly Father’s light, into the sunshine, that you might forgive and uplift them and, in so doing, you will overcome a part of your individual journey and you will have progressed.
We all have to overcome differences, even the colour of the skin.  For some, it creates fear and it is this that prevents them from loving and giving.  They fear that if they give too much that these souls will turn around and use them by taking advantage of their kindness.  Fear generates fear so this is why we teach love.  Do not allow yourselves to be taken down by fear.  Give your love and understanding for you are responsible to God to come to Him, with love.
